Junk Mail

I discovered last night what junk mail is good for. While your cleaning your kitchen and your one-year-old wants to "help" you give her pieces of junk mail (one at a time) to put in the trash. She feels she's helped and you get your cleaning done. :)

Woof, Woof

Two days ago A was wanting something and I asked her "What do you say?" I was hoping to get the response of her signing please. A looked at me and said, "Woof, Woof!"

A's new things

My little A is getting so big and learning so much. I've been trying to teach her some sign language. The other day at dinner she wanted something so I told her to say please. I didn't use the sign as I sometimes do, but she rubbed her chest the way I'd been teaching her to. I was so excited!

She says OH, NO!!; No, no, no; Bible; and just today: more. We'll still be working with her to either say or sign drink and eat.

Funnies

So the other day at work, amid changing and feeding screaming children, my co-worker T clicked someone in and then asked me who it was. I described the lady to her and she said, "Oh, that's one of the twins mom. Either E or O, I can't remember which." To which I replied, "Well, E and O are brothers so wouldn't that make her both of their moms?" We had a good laugh about that one.

One of our parents came in yesterday to pick up his child. I watched as he pulled away then pulled right back up. He gets out of the car and opens the back door, looks around, opens the front passenger door and looks around. Then he comes in and asks us if we've seen his sunglasses. T looks right at him and says, "They're on your head Hon." That poor dad.
